Centre Road Crossing is a lovely campsite along the banks of the Deep River. There is a charming hut used for  accommodation.

Centre Road crosses the Deep at this point and in winter is only passable by four-wheel drive.

The surrounds are tranquil and when water levels are high one can hear the flowing of the water in the creek.
There are many roads and tracks in this area, which make for beautiful and peaceful bush walking opportunities.

Centre Road Crossing is also an opportune canoe launching site. It is possible to canoe from Fernhook Falls to Centre Road Crossing. Or from Centre Road Crossing to further downstream.
