The Warren Blackwood offers beautiful mountain bike tracks through the majestic trees and exciting landscape.

There are several long running annual races such as the Karri Cup held near the township of Northcliffe every Labour Day Long Weekend. There are categories for teams, solo, adult and kids.

Pemberton has built a multi-use cycling trail at Pemberton Forest Park. Construction on the 30 km trail incorporates dirt jumps for the more advanced difficulty levels.

Located only 3 km from the town of Manjimup is the King Jarrah Heritage Trail. This 650 metre sealed trail showcases the awesome 600 year of King Jarrah Tree and meanders through the understory of the Jarrah forest.

Nannup is soon to become a mountain biker's paradise, with a massive development of trails underway. Key your eyes posted for more!

Choose your area

The Northcliffe Forest Park is only one kilometre from the main town site and with karri trees being the third biggest trees in the world the park has some of the oldest and the biggest trees in the whole of Australia! As you ride through the forest keep your eyes and ears alert for the many different of bird calls from the native birds found in this area. Along with the birds, this area is very beautiful in wild flower season as the forest floors come to life with amazing colours.

The Munda Biddi Trail (which means path through the forest in the Noongar Aboriginal language)  is fast becoming a world-class nature-based off-road cycling experience. There are few places left in the world where a 1000km track could be built through an undeveloped natural corridor. Combine Western Australia's vast areas of unspoiled forests and bushland, gentle terrain, and year-round cycling weather, and you have the ideal setting for an off-road cycle trail.

Not a very confident rider? Or maybe looking for an easy trail? Then how about trying the Northcliffe Linkage trail. This 18 km trail takes you through a vast range of landscapes taking you all the way to the much trickier Northcliffe State Championship Trail.

The trails in Pemberton Forest Park are new and exciting ventures aimed to bring new tourists to the town. Set in the heart of the giant Karri forests, the backdrop is stunning, and the trails aren't too bad either. With a range of easier trails for the less confident to the more tricky trails, Pemberton Forest Park has something for everyone.

The Big Brook Forest is one of the most picturesque places in karri country and it provides a great setting for a family outing. With trails that aren't to tricky, it makes a great place to take the kids or to just simply go for a leisurely and relaxing ride.

In 2007/2008 the old Busselton - Nannup railway lines were transformed into cycle paths by removing the sleepers.  In some sections the old sleepers have been left in place to show how the track used to look. Both The Old Timberline & Sidings Rail trails use the Old Nannup Railway Bridge. Riders of all ages take part in the fun of cycling in the bush and simply having a good time.

TRAIL BIKE

The Shire of Manjimup recognises the importance of trails as significant contributors to the liveability of local residents and an experiential tourism draw card for visitors.  With a rapid increase in motorised trail bike use state and nation-wide, the Shire has identified an opportunity to explore Manjimup as the first trail bike trail hub destination in WA.
